Janelle Monáe-inspired Dandy Queen wedding inspiration that’s dapper and stylish as hell
We’re loving the sapeur look of Dandy Queen style, which showcases amazingly dapper women rocking chic suits and menswear with panache. It’s cultural impact and rich roots make anyone who takes on the style an inspiration. For this particular wedding inspiration, Janelle Monáe was a huge influence since she has showcased the style impeccably.
Red and Julian’s excellent road trip adventure wedding
Taelor (aka Red) and Julian met through their love of vehicles and are members of a low riding truck club called No Regrets that travels across the country. In true No Regrets fashion, they are one big family, and the members of the group came from all parts of the country to see these two get married. Red lives, eats, sleeps, and breathes vintage and all things pin-up while Julian would wear red plaid every day of the week if you let him. Getting married at the historical Packard Proving Grounds really showcased their love for history and vehicles.
Just wait until you see the dress at this colorful Washington DC wedding with Jewish traditions
Will and Emily’s wedding combined traditional Jewish elements with fun, personalized nods to the couple. Emily made the escort cards herself (paper flowers!) and other fun touches included a candy buffet with their favorite treats and the cake topper (wedding versions of their favorite Mario Kart characters!).
So much edgy floral goodness at this urban art + distillery wedding inspiration
With a lacy black gown and accompanying crown, cranberry cocktails, a custom tailored burgundy wool suit (with an antique honeybee pin), wrought iron, floral, and candle details, and dramatic proteas all around, this edgy wedding inspiration is totally bad-ass and chic at the same time.
It all took place in Hartford, Connecticut at Hartford Flavor Co. (a unique artisan liqueur distillery) and Hog River Brewing Co. (a favorite local brewery). A hand-painted vegan leather jacket and towering black wedding cake are a few of the must-see details…
