A shredding wedding: snowboarding post-nuptials is a total win

Twee and John had a small and heartfelt snowboarding wedding at Sapphire Point overlooking a frozen Lake Dillon and the mountains of Breckenridge Ski Resort in Colorado.

After their morning wedding, they decided to do what they loved doing together: hitting the slopes! Twee rocked a cheetah print shrug along with her dress, which covered almost her entire board and collected many pounds of snow and ice along the way. Are you ready to see this hardcore shredding wedding?

Not into sugar? This literal cheese cake is your savory cake alternative

Darcy and Jasper had one of the most rockin-est (yeah, it’s a word!) weddings ever. “Drunken gay glamour” sets the tone nicely. One little detail that we hadn’t seen in quite some time was their literal cheese cake, a savory cake alternative for the less sweets-minded. Stacked cheese is always goooood.

A REAL rainbow totally blessed this same sex engagement shoot

Are you kidding me with this serendipity? William and Rob were taking engagement photos around downtown Omaha when they ran across this gorgeous fountain with sunlight hitting it just right. SO right that it cast a practically perfect in every way REAL rainbow. Come on, this is adorable. I’m going double rainbow wild over here. Okay, maybe not that wild (that was pretty flippin’ wild, if you remember), but it is pretty rad.

We’ve got rainbow heart eyes for these two and their real rainbow engagement. Let’s see if you do, too…

Have a reception caricature artist (as favors and entertainment!)

Marissa and Josh’s red rockabilly wedding featured a reception caricature artist sketching their guests. I fell in love with the idea that their guests would come away with a really amusing and customized piece of art after the wedding.

The best part if you’re trying to find the budget for a caricature artist: they can replace favors and even the DJ (if you’re not into dancing).
