Heather and Jeremy were married at Noah's in Arizona during sizzling July (110 degree heat, ya'll). On top of braving the heat, they had a football toss instead of bouquet toss, boys in capes instead of ring bearers, and bouquets and boutonnières made of vegetables by How Appropriate. All of that plus the starry details makes this a sight to see. Thanks to Jared at Platt Photography for letting us in on this amazing party.

Comments on Vegetables, sparklers, and caped crusader boys in this starry wedding

  1. That fruit/veggie bouquet is flat out amazing! I have to ask…did you eat it later? 😀

    • No, I actually did not eat any of it! But it was a very fun and unique bouquet. I wanted our Wedding to be VERY different and I think that we accomplished it! 🙂

    • Thanks! They were so cute and made a different twist on the traditional ring bearer/flower girl part of a Wedding.

  2. Where did you get the flipbooks from? They’re amazing and I’m googling but to no avail!

    Your wedding looks stunning btw.

    • Thanks! My mom was the one that really helped our wedding come together and go perfectly. She was the wedding planner.

  3. The dress is the most beautiful dress I have seen. Heather you look great in it!!! You picked the best dress to compliment you!! Beautiful!!

  4. I’m dying and swooning!! I love the bouquet, I love the flipbooks, I love the sparklers and the stars, and I ADORE the cape!!!! How stinking cute!! Where did you find the cape?

  5. What an amazing dress (and bouquet. and headband. and photographer… etc, etc, etc.)!!! Who’s the designer?

    • The designer of my dress was Tadashi Shoji. It was one of the first dresses I saw and knew I had to have it. At the time, the only dress in my size left was at one Nordstrom store in California. It took a lot of calling from one of the Nordstrom employees to find it!

  6. Your wedding looks like it was so much fun! I love it! We were also thinking about doing the ring bearer cape…did you still have him hold a pillow? Or did he carry anything at all?
