OMGWTFBOBAFETT! This is amazing. It was one bad-ass groom’s cake for Khanh & Jamie’s wedding. This is one of the few cakes I’ve seen where I truly WOULDN’T want to cut into it.
This week in our Flickr pool, we have a bad-ass groom’s cake, a wonderful first look session, a gorgeous $25 wedding dress, a surprise proposal, and paper flowers even geekier than a Boba Fett cake!
How hot is Zach and his bride Jill? This is part of a perfectly-shot first look session by . I’m also truly digging the combo of Jills green dress and that purple tie. But let’s look at the adorable reveal…
D’awwwww. Jill’s smile is just infectious, isn’t it?
Check out Offbeat Bride reader ScarlettBurn’s paper wedding flowers. She explains:
These are some of my favorite flowers made from Sudoku puzzles, a Scott Pilgrim comic, Fables comic, a Paper Source newsletter, and a Disneyland album sent to Annual Pass holders. All handmade.
Jenny’s vintage wedding dress cost $25, and was found at an estate sale by a friend of hers who then had it cleaned and restored it! Talk about awesome friends!
Here we have one more example of friends going above and beyond. This Save the Date was designed and colored with freaking colored pencils by Offbeat Bride reader The Steampunk Bride’s Maid of Honor! We love the octopus on the airship. The vintage-style postcard back was designed by the bride.
Let’s end this on the sweetest note of all… Tribesmaid darkali‘s proposal to her dude. He totally said yes.
