Display your photo sharing info cards in a camera-shaped holder

Of course, we all want to see as many photos of our creations, friends, and family ASAP after the wedding. I love the idea of giving your guests cards that have a URL to share their photos. So I’ve slapped together a “some assembly required” template that, when assembled, will form a camera style “box” to hold business cards with your URL for sharing. Feel free to take the “idea” and run with it.

DIY Photo Sharing Information Card Holder 6Of course, we all want to see as many photos of our creations, friends, and family ASAP after the wedding. I love the idea of giving your guests a little card with a URL where they can easily share their photos with you. This in mind, I’ve slapped together a “some assembly required” template that, when assembled, will form a camera-style “box” to hold business cards with your photo sharing URL.

Let me throw out a disclaimer that I made this screwing around in Microsoft Publisher, so I’m sure there are some wonderful people out there who can make this a whole lot snazzier, so feel free to take the “idea” and run with it.

First: Photo sharing cards

I created a group room at Snapfish, but other people have used Shutterfly or Flickr… whatever you think most of your guests already have is probably the best route.

Then, either craft your own, or order some business cards with the URL for your sharing site. I ordered the free business cards from VistaPrint and got 250 cards for the cost of shipping.

Second: Cute card holder

Print out this template on decent card stock.

Before you click print, just a few notes… you need to be able to print double-sided, and make sure to update your settings to do so. I had to go to Print Setup (File > Print Setup > Properties > Layout > Flip on Long Edge, and make some adjustments for it to print right.
