Andrea and Steve were inspired by their own way of life when they planned their rustic country wedding. They combined a formal, black tie event with a huge family jamboree and old-fashioned ho-down. Everyone was encouraged to come with a musical instrument and the drive to rock out. They both come from families who love jam nights and réveillons, so the ho-down was simply back to basics for this music-loving crowd.

This wedding took my breath away. The photography is beautiful. The pictures in the snow are like a fairy tale. I kept scrolling down and squealing with delight at each new detail. The barn! The lanterns! Hockey groomsmen! A singing bride! The reception at a theatre! I want to jump inside my computer. I’m *mostly* set on eloping, until I see a wedding a like this that hits me right in the feels. Right in them!
That last photo! Love it! I love that this bride is so clearly really enjoying doing something that she has worked to gain a skill at.
This whole photoset oozes joy!
What a gorgeous wedding. Andrea, you look great! And I love seeing some of the less offbeat weddings on Offbeat Bride–the theme weddings are great, but it’s fun to see the site feature a “regular” wedding that looks just as beautiful and fun.
What a beautiful wedding! They look like they had so much fun. The photos in the snow are gorgeous!
I love how classy she looks like and I love the way he looks at her. 🙂
Thanks for sharing. I love the pictures, especially the beautiful woman playing the violin.
