Anna and Brad had two weddings in one day! They began by getting married in the same church Brad's parents were wed in, and rounded out the evening with a traditional Laotian ceremony. The festivities included a customized newspaper wedding announcement, a Laotian string ceremony known as baci, and so much delicious-looking food (look at those fruit kebabs!) you could almost taste it through your screen.

OMNOMNOM. I love when cultures collide and couples do two ceremonies. Twice the fun and celebration!
LOVE these multi cultural weddings with OBB could gather more about the traditions behind the ‘non-western’ weddings for the completely ignorant like me! why the sashes? what’s up with the gorgeous silver whatchamajigs? are the big silver bowls with silk flower particularly significant? I need to knoooow!?
Great photos and beautiful bride. I like Indian (Laos) traditional weddings.
I wish I understood ANYTHING that is going on (egg in the hand?!) so I hope there is a full write-up but I GORGEOUS everything none the less.
