We love it when a picture so perfectly captures a sweet, simple idea. The concept behind the centerpieces at Maeraj and Michael's wedding is just tiny succulents in jam jars + tea lights. That's it. The end. The result is not only lovely and clean, but your guests also get adorable little plants to take home with them.
There's SO much more inspiration waiting for you in Maeraj and Michael's wedding — wait until you see their coffee shop venue, complete with a curtain of paper cranes!
Oh man, that is really pretty. I have a special place in my heart for a succulent called Hen and Biddies (no idea what the real name is, but it’s the top succulent in that picture) and I want to grow them all over my new house anyway. I’m seriously thinking, if we do get married at home, that succulents will be used as decoration because they’re amazing.
Hens and Chicks! (or hens and biddies as you called it) They are super adorable.

I love this look SO much!
The other bonus of having smaller (shorter) centerpieces is that people can see and talk to other people at the table. If the arrangements get too big, it’s harder to be social at dinner.
