When you marry your high school sweetheart with a dreamy dance party love fest
Our vows were tear-jerkers for sure but also definitely a couple of laughs in there. We have known each other for 14 years, we are high school sweethearts so there was so much to cover and we were very conscious of not wanting to go on and on…
We are shooketh by this sunlit forest elopement in Cougal Cascades
Sharon and Bryan’s intimate forest elopement had us gob-smacked by the scenery, the golden hour, the romantic moments, and the sheer magnitude of the beauty of this couple and this environment. We are still shook. It took place at Cougal Cascades in Queensland, Australia, and had subtle Twilight wedding vibes with that dress and those epic trees. We just need a little of Christina Perri’s “A Thousand Years” and we’ll be ready to sob…
New South Wales surprise wedding with a yellow wedding dress and matching manicure!
Belle and Layne chose to play their cards close to their chest when it came to announcing the wedding. In fact, they didn’t announce it was a wedding until guests arrived at the property! It was entirely an expression of who they are and how they love. The amount of community involvement in putting the day together showed how much they value and rely on the people in their circles. The DIY elements of the day, including Belle’s dress, articulated their creative spirits.

It was all about favorite foods & favorite people at this Perth wedding
Natalie never thought she’d get married. Then she met Chris while they were working as new lawyers and it all came together for them. They chose to skip a few traditions that didn’t resonate with them like a bridal party or a first dance. All they wanted was a selection of awesome food and great company, and they achieved it. They kept it simple and chose all their favourite food vendors to provide nibbles for the night.
After 14 years of waiting, these Australian ladies finally had the sparkly potluck wedding of their dreams
We waited over 14 years to get married because Australia took its sweet time to come around to marriage equality, and in that time we really managed to shed pretty much every idea and expectation around what weddings should be that didn't suit or serve us. So our wedding was relaxed, fun, and totally us.
Our very tight budget meant that we opted to go for a potluck over a catered event, and we chose a 'cake and cheese' theme.
