As usual, my mind has been blown by all of the fantastic photos in the Offbeat Bride Flickr pool. Seriously, people: my head might explode soon from all of your awesome-ness. Anyway, I'm enjoying all of the outdoor lovin', as a result this Monday Montage features a lot of greenery. So, please buckle your seat-belts as I take you on a little woodland wedding adventure.
P.S. Don't forget, you can always choose your own adventure — click on a photo to see more!
Chloe and Michael weren't afraid to get down and dirty on their wedding day, so they got married at the Woodford Folk Festival. What else would you expect from a couple who met via the circus and got engaged at a burlesque revue? As you might suspect, they had an “Old-World-inspired, Traveling-Circus-Infused Festival Wedding.” I have to say, they rocked that shit!
Marina and Adam also rocked the circus theme, with a kissing booth, colorful costumes and a lady with fire fingers!? It's no wonder they dubbed their wedding the “Circus of Love.”
Nothing says true love like licking your man's eye ball! Hels and Jules are too adorkable. I can't even handle it.
Just a couple of kids making out in the woods… But seriously, these two forest dwellers got married near Alqonguin Park, Canada. You'll be hearing more about Laura's incredible buckskin corset and the rest of her bad ass wedding attire later this week.
By accidently DIYing almost everything Becca & Adam totally pulled off this deliciously turquoise and red wedding.
Cheryl and Jamie legally got married in Edmonton, AB. Afterward, they got weddinged on Playa de los Muertos in Sayulita, Mexico. Props to Cheryl for making jumping in a schmancy dress look easy.
Here are Lydia and her “mini-bridesmaid” lookin' simply fabulous as they await Lydia and Nathan's “magical hippyish lovefest in the forest…”
…Lydia and Nathan weren't joking about the magic part. They appear to be glowing like fairies in this photo. I dig.
Julia and Shannon got married on an unusually hot day, at the Burke Museum in Seattle, WA. Even the heat couldn't stop them from grinning like a couple of smitten kittens.
I'll leave you with this last shot of Megan and her unbelievably bright bridesmaids. Ahhhhh-mazing.
Hey, photographers! I love you and do my best to attribute all Monday Montage photos, but sometimes brides don't include your info when they submit photos. If I've featured your work but it isn't properly credited, email me!
Megan and Kristopher, I love the dress code. People are wearing jeans etc. but you guys still look fab! What a lovely relaxed vibe. and congratulations!
Chloe’s dress! Hellz yeah!
And I love the idea of getting married wearing wellies.
😀
Love them all- I want the scoop on every single one!
Dude, I WANT Chloe’s purple corset! And Marina’s royal blue dress is just TO DIE FOR! 😀
I am so pleased to see the Woodford wedding here! Amazing!
I literally gasped when I saw Marina’s blue dress. I have been searching for MONTHS for something exactly like that!! Anyone have any idea where I might be able to find something like that??
Jennidoll, you can contact Marina directly by clicking on the photo and leaving a comment on Flickr!
Jennidoll, I totally understand the search that goes into finding the dress of your dreams, so allow me to tell you now that my dress is a reproduction of a Jean Desses dress that I first came across at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London. I then researched everywhere to get more pictures of it, to then take them off to a dress maker who spent 3 1/2 months making it from scratch! She was amazing! I added in the white crinoline to make it look more bridal and the Dior belt detail was something I found when buying my fabric and simply had to have, hang the price I said, it’s vintage Dior for gosh’s sake!
My advice is if you live in Australia hit me up on the tribe and I’ll hook you up with my dress makers details cause she freaking rocks! Otherwise head to the victoria and albert museum website and get yourself to a dress maker ASAP!
