I thought I'd do a special roundup for Halloween week here at Offbeat Wed, talking to some of our readers to bring you some of their cutest, most creative Halloween invitations and save the dates. Most of Halloween wedding invitations were DIY projects, which can be frustrating for those of us who aren't quite as crafty, so we're including some pre-made options from Etsy, too.
To start, our reader Sara made these Ouija save the dates for her Halloween wedding. And the back is just as cool!…
These aren't the first Ouija invites that we've seen on Offbeat Wed. Check out these from Derek and Joey for more inspiration.
These Dial M for Murder Marriage save the dates from our reader Krys gave me chills just looking at 'em.
These zombie love save the date cards were whipped up by a reader named Redhotmomma. We feel like these letterpress zombie wedding invitations from Etsy have a similar vibe:
One reader bought these invites on Etsy, explaining “When the design was bought, the seller included different old bat prints to help my designer friend expand on the initial design. I love how it all came out and kept the vintage Halloween look we were going for!” You can find similar designs over here.
This invite is from Morgan, who wanted to tie both their Elvis and Halloween theme into their invitations. I think they killed it (pun intended).
I love laser cut invitations and I think they look ESPECIALLY amazing when you're going for a creepy Halloween vibe! Offbeat reader Team Runcible explains, “We had them laser cut in 8 different colors ranging from indigo (shown) to bubble gum pink. I think the company we worked with, Xylocopa, did a great job designing them.” You can find similar options here.
Offbeat reader Alina Jette and her husband got married on Friday the 13th. These were pretty perfect, were they not?
Awesome use of the embracing skeletons found near Mantova, Italy, in Offbeat reader reader Mysty's save the dates.
Offbeat reader Caitlin explains about these invites… “I wanted us in ‘traditional' wedding clothes on the invites — it's the only way any of our more traditional relatives are going to see me in a white meringue… if it's covered in blood.”
Offbeat reader Spooky's fiancé is a classic movie fanatic and she is a self-described horror queen. So, of course she remade the 1931 style Dracula poster to include their faces!
These halloween wedding invitations weren't enough, and you want more Halloween wedding ideas?

Martha! The fingers…wow. Love it.
These are all super creative.
I’ve been trying to void porn since my wedding is rapidly approaching, but I’m glad I checked out this stuff! It felt more like being in a museum than looking at wedding porn.
I have to say that “Dial M For Marriage” is the best thing ever! So freaking creative!
I’ve got my Halloween invites on the OBT here: http://offbeatbride.ning.com/profiles/blogs/1190964:BlogPost:107795
The coffins are pretty cool, as are the graveyard ones. Well, the are all very creative, but I like those two the absolute best.
These are awesome. My fiance and I are having a Halloween wedding this Saturday, eloping tomorrow!
I LOVE the zombie “Night of the Living Wed”
So jealous! I really wanted a Halloween/Fall wedding but got stuck with Summer instead.
I loooove Halloween! And these are awesome!
Hey, shout out to the Quad Cities! Love to see an offbeat couple from my hometown on the bat inspired invitation!
I love the “Zombie Survival Guide” insert! These awesome invites and such make me wish that it would make any sense to include more spooky stuff in our wedding. Its all so awesome!
The bat and damask wedding invites are actually mine and can be bought here:

It was so much fun to make the Hallowedding bat & lace invites. Jen, I’m so happy that you love how they turned out as much as I do! 🙂
I am so in love with those Martha Stewart finger invites, and the idea of rings instead of ribbons is too perfect!!
Halloween Week makes me wish we had had a Hallowedding! Guess we’ll have to have a vow renewal! ;]
I love the one that unfolds to look like bat wings!
I love the purple cutout invitation with the spooky detailing!
Who do I speak with about getting permission for one of these images. I LOVE the night of the living wed for my Halloween wedding this year.
These are awesome! Laser cut one’s beautiful although the severed finger’s my fave 😀 Had to work out what “STD” was in wedding context though, as I have only seen it used medically before, hahaha!!
