A queer camp-themed wedding with a mom bar and banjos
Let’s runaway to this woodsy camp-themed wedding! Ben and Charlie struck the perfect balance of rustic and refined – camp themed, but not campy, if you know what we mean. From their handmade decorations, to their photos by the lake (captured by Kristen Renee Photography), to their adorable wedding favors, this wedding is full of inspo for our tree-hugging readers.
When your wedding theme is JENNIFER COOLIDGE
Christopher and Joshua had a gloriously colorful wedding in the heart of New York City. Wait until you see how a subtle Jennifer Coolidge theme showed up throughout the day (we’re going to be talking forever about that cake), and how Jennifer herself blessed their union!
A night wedding with an ombré dress and constellation jacket
Michele is a schoolteacher, so a Summer wedding was a must… and she also wanted to have a night wedding, in order to properly showcase the lanterns she’d themed the wedding around. Her husband Rob got in on the theme with a custom jacket, featuring a design based on the night sky at the time of their first date in 2019!
This magical Middle Earth fairytale wedding will take you to another world
Our fairytale wedding included medieval and fantasy elements, with much inspiration from The Lord of the Rings. We personalized our non-religious ceremony, and included many nods to Tolkien. We even had a “House Sword” specially forged for the ceremony!
This cancer survivor tossed her wig instead of the bouquet
I was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer two days after booking our wedding venue. Even though my chemotherapy would be completed by July and my immune system would be back to normal by September, the version of myself I envisioned on my wedding day was completely shattered.
A witchy Halloween handfasting next to a cemetery
Our plan was to incorporate our love of the renaissance faire and the witchy aesthetic that we were known for to make a dark fantasy/enchanted forest vibe for our Halloween handfasting.
