If you're going for a wedding feel that's like a cross between “dusty” and “glitter,” this is totally the shoe post for you.
This week, I'm going to nose around in that delicious aesthetic sweet-spot between vintage and glam, between rustic and chic, between glitz and hay bales. Most of these are in the 1920s flavor of vintage. (If Great Gastsby-era is your jam, be sure to check our 1920s archive!)
Offbeat Wed Vendor
This page features vendors from our curated Offbeat Wed Vendor Directory. They're awesome and we love them. If you're a vendor let's get you in here!
And now I really want green shoes, despite having nothing to wear them with!
I want all of them. Can you just box ’em up and send them my way?
I have those first modcloth shoes in another colour! They are definitely comfier than most nice shoes/comfier than they look (still not perfect for me because apparently I have weird shaped ankles… but fine with tights!). That said, I wore gumboots :p
I love how these kind of shoes can still look so elegant with a lower heel height. Bookmarking…
You never disappoint! These are the EXACT style I’m looking for. You’re a saint, Ariel!
Wow, that last pair of shoes would be very cool at a wedding!
Oooh! I got married 2 days ago, and that white pair that starts off this article? Those were the ones I wore! I <3 ModCloth! The shoes were great – a smigeon big; I ordered the 7.5s, my usual size, but they were a little wider than most 7.5s. I also bought a pair in blue in size 7, but they toe box was small enough that I decided they wouldn't work for me.

These shoes, are exactly the ones I had envisioned in my mind this morning, but they don’t show on the blog. Please help me locate them!
The post was updated to remove discontinued shoes… those ones are no longer available:
