How I cater to offbeat weddings
Hey! My name is Zabrina and I own The Gay Agenda Collective, a Queer, Kanaka Maoli, Woman run/owned event and wedding business on the island of Oahu. We specialize in creating more space in the wedding industry for queer folk. While I planned my wedding, I experienced first hand how complex and difficult it is planning a wedding when you do not fit into societal norms. Our mission is to create a network of queer owned/affirming business that we can refer to clients. As an indigenous person, also supporting Kanaka run business in Hawaii is a huge for us. We want all our couples to feel like they are writing their own stories, setting their own rules, and choosing their love above all else.
An amazing team of people that our wedding could not have happened without! Zabrina handled all the logistics with grace and ease. Her and Ipo not only made us feel prepared and ready for the big day, they also made us feel incredibly special. Through timeline planning, vender negotiations, and family conflict, they were there through it all to support us and make us feel confident about our wedding day! We LOVE The Gay Agenda!
