Hey there, I'm Mo! I'm an avid wedding and portrait photographer based in Vermont, and love meeting folks who love adventure and spending quality time in this amazing place. While I do love a traditional wedding (when it's a good fit for the couple), my creativity really shines when I get to work with people who want to make their day all their own.
My goal with every celebration is to make sure everyone involved is having a great time. I try to find the balance between allowing candid moments to happen, as well as set you up for some gorgeous posed shots. Everything we do together contributes to the memories you will have of that day, and I don't take that lightly.
How I cater to offbeat weddings
One of the biggest responsibilities I have as a photographer is to document the diverse people who hire me exactly as they are, and ensure they can feel safe while doing so. I don’t take the task lightly, and more and more I find that I thrive when I get to meet and work with folks from all different backgrounds. I spent my collage years studying anthropology because I’ve always been fascinated by people and cultures, and photography is my practical application of that education in my everyday life.
One of the things I’m most proud of in my work is the many LGBTQ+ couples I’ve been able to celebrate and feature in my portfolio. Not only do I think it’s incredibly important to provide examples of queer couples in the media in general, but I’ve made lifelong friendships with everyone that’s hired me for their day. I celebrate this diversity and everyone I get to meet, and making these lifelong friendships means the absolute world to me.
“As a queer couple, it was very important to us to find someone who would be open, but beyond that, be aware enough through the process to make us feel good and be able to let our guard down. Moriah surpassed our hope and expectation from the first conversation, completely getting it and taking it upon herself to make sure she did.”
