A bit about me:
I'm a Cincinnati wedding photographer
(also working in Phoenix and anywhere in the country) who recently moved to Ohio. I live here with my kickass wife and our equally kickass dog. I got into photography after going to school for and working in the film industry. I love playing basketball, petting dogs' bellies, and hanging with the people I love. If there's a tasty treat involved, all the better.
How it relates to you:
I'm a super laid back dude, which I find relaxes my clients and makes me one of the easiest parts of your day. I also love when couples are having fun with their day. However, I am serious about creating amazing work and making clients happy. Getting elated reactions from people seeing their photos for the first time is about as good as it gets.
I love it when a client bucks tradition and does their own thing. You are you and you should love and own that. I've photographed punk rockers to cowboys and everything in between. Even if you prefer a traditional wedding, I'm down with making that special too. My wedding photography is colorful, natural, and sweeping. I live for amazing moments, unique architecture, interesting composition, and warm tones.
What I’m trying to do for my community:
I wholeheartedly believe in giving back and leaving the world, and specifically your community, a better place. That’s why for the last seven years in our previous home I’ve volunteered running a non-profit that educates and connects local filmmakers called IFP Phoenix. On top of that, 1% of every dollar that comes into my business goes to St. Mary’s Food Bank (currently looking for a Cincinnati food bank to switch to for 2023!). Last year this contribution, plus my wife’s company’s generous match, meant we provided 10,850 meals to the community in need!
How I cater to offbeat weddings
My wife and I pulled up to our wedding among some cabins in the woods in a golf cart. We walked down the aisle together. Our dog was our ring bearer. I wholeheartedly believe you should do what you want with your wedding. It’s your day and your love. Whether that means you’re doing nothing traditional or even if you love the traditional things. It’s all good with me.
I have photographed grooms with mohawks, wedding parties in cowboy boots, and punk rockers with tattoos on a beach. I love it all and simply crave good people who love each other. It doesn’t matter to me what size, color, gender, or orientation you are. You do you and let me show you how great that is.
"If you have the chance to work with Aaron to shoot your wedding, engagement, or any other photos, DO IT. The photos are a dream! His ability to make you feel comfortable and natural on camera is uncanny. Our photos really convey our love and the fun we have." - Noz
Mention Offbeat Bride when you book and I'll take 10% off your package because I'm cool like that!
