Åsa and Nina got married at the VikingaTider in Löddeköpinge, in the south of Sweden. It’s an archaeological open-air museum focusing on Vikings and the early Middle Ages. It was a fantasy viking wedding theme(!) and they even made their own dresses! The ceremony had singing and circle dancing and all-around good times for all guests and vikings alike.

Angel and Shanti pulled from pagan, Christian, and viking traditions to create their amazing outdoor ceremony. Everything from the groomsmen sashes to the floral arrangements was DIYed. In a super badass move, the couple exchanged swords instead of rings.

This Quebec wiccan wedding had a lovely handfasting that involved 13 of their friends, pagan and wiccan rituals, fire dancers, musicians, and so many of the couples’ friends contributing their wares and talents. Sheena and Todd live in Seattle, but wanted to celebrate their Norse souls in the land of fire and ice by have a Norse cave wedding in Iceland. But they weren’t choosing any old location… they surprised their guests with a ceremony in a 4600-year-old lava tube cave! Y’all know we love a cave wedding.

They had an honorary fire, a Norse celebrant, oath rings, a Viking horn, and the groom not only presented the bride with a sword as a gift but also read his vows from it.
