Kristina & Matthew’s steampunk and science bookish wedding

Beakers, test tubes, stacks of books, and a rocket dog — get ready for some steamy fun in this one! This super-organized pair also offered a stamping station, amazing steampunk hand fans, centerpieces you’ll drool over, and a pre-game shot that was more than any of them bargained for.

Ashley & Jake’s steampunk adventure trolley wedding

There are a few ways to avoid a bunch of time-consuming group portraits, but this one is one of our favorites. These two rented an open air brass-railed trolley for a perfectly suited steampunk backdrop for their photo shoot! Add that to the bride’s handmade reception gown, amazing steamy costumes, and a gamer-themed musical at the reception, and you’ll be totally transported. Oh, and wait until you see who ended up wearing a white wedding gown. Hint: it wasn’t the bride!

Casey and Tim’s farm wedding was heavy on the delish desserts — including this three-tier wedding cake made from Rice Krispies! This is a true DIY masterpiece: Casey’s dad created custom form pans and her mom whipped up the treat. If you’re not feeling up to creating your own forms you could use something already made, like a regular cake pan or one that’s heart-shaped.
