industrial chic

What’s an industrial chic wedding? Think high glamour in an old warehouse. Think gritty bricks paired with smooth satin. Think twinkling lights in loft studios, narrow alleys that lead to former factories now converted to galleries. If you’re looking for an industrial chic wedding venue or decor ideas, this is your spot!

This edgy styled wedding inspiration had a crochet dress AND a mirrored dress

This edgy wedding inspiration had a crochet dress AND a mirrored dress

This edgy wedding inspiration is like something out of an industrial dream. The softness of the bride’s black and white crochet dress highlighted her amazing ink, but then the second mirrored dress? DIVINE. Plus, everything had a very organic meets geometric vibe that I just loved. Don’t miss the three geometric cakes (one which mimics the angles of the mirror dress!), the air plant bouquet and greenery, and the beauty of the wedding party.

A wanderlust-inspired alternative wedding

A wanderlust-inspired alternative industrial wedding (with gold succulents!)

Just wait until you see the hint of blue hair (that matched Pete’s blue suit!), contemporary geometric and gold details, and a super chic industrial venue space. Don’t miss the succulents in the bouquet — they were painted gold!

Let’s see this wanderlust-inspired alternative industrial wedding…

An inked, glam, and industrial woodland wedding at the Carrie Furnaces in Pittsburgh

An inked, glam, and woodland-meets-industrial wedding at the Carrie Furnaces in Pittsburgh

Heather and Sean’s inked style is easy to love, just like their industrial-inspired wedding at an awesome Pittsburgh venue, an abandoned steel mill. Towering 92 feet over the Monongahela River, the Carrie Furnaces are a historical landmark and rare example of pre-World War II iron-making technology.

The flowers are lush, the hair and makeup is immaculate, and the dichotomy of the woodland details in the steel space is the BEST. Look out for the animals masks, flowery shoes, and amazing love…

New Orleans meets pop culture meets foodie details at this lovely wedding

New Orleans meets pop culture meets foodie details at this Atlanta wedding

Alex and Michael’s rad New Orleans-inspired wedding was a mash-up of Harry Potter, pop culture, and a New Orleans speakeasy vibe with a dash of chef-inspired details. All these ideas were set against the amazing industrial backdrop of the King Plow Arts Center in Atlanta, Georgia. From the persimmons and red cabbage hidden in the bouquet, to the box of Harry Potter-themed Owl Post “letters” that held their self-designed rings, to the gorgeous tablescapes that brought a new meaning to “farm to table,” this wedding had everything a pop culture and foodie nerd could ever want.

Street art, tattoos, and lots of bling at this Roosevelt Row wedding styled shoot in Phoenix

Street art, tattoos, and lots of bling at this Roosevelt Row wedding inspiration in Phoenix

The Roosevelt Row Arts District in Phoenix, Arizona was the backdrop to this street art meets tattoos Roosevelt Row wedding inspiration shoot. It’s a bit of a creative haunt for street artists and this gave us a killer view to admire with all the glam up front.

Carrie and her husband didn’t get a chance to snag any great photography at their own wedding, so they used this shoot to really take advantage of some gorgeously-styled portraits.

Don't miss the stunning golden gown at this industrial shoot

Don’t miss the stunning golden gown at this industrial shoot

When we saw this styled shoot come in, it was full-on starry-eyed emoji time. The white embellished gown? The FAB golden gown?! The bejeweled headpiece?! It’s all too much to take in and we’re loving it. Plus, put this pair in the industrial chic backdrop of the Art District of Manchester, Richmond, VA, and it’s a perfect dichotomy. It’s traditional meets totally not, which is kinda how we roll anyway. Shall we take a look? You know you can’t stop…
