Meaghan & Stuart’s book-loving dual wedding in California and Scotland
A glossary program, library book ring holder, author table names, and a big old stack of books made out of cake — we LOVE book week! This wedding is a double dose of awesome with a ceremony and reception at a California vineyard and a second reception in Glasgow, Scotland! We’re glad a book kept these two together so we could see this wedding!
We’re off to see the wizard for this Sonoma wedding
You can certainly go all out for a theme, but sometimes all it takes are a few key details to make a point. For their Sonoma, California wedding, Zaclyn and Albert went for just a subtle nod to the Wizard of Oz. Emerald green shoes for the groomsmen: check. Emerald green pocket squares: check. Emerald bridesmaid dresses: yep. Yellow brick road of roses on the aisle: omg, check. Ruby red high heels: CHECK THOSE TOO, MMHM.
Lacey & David’s Mad Hatter garden tea party with an umbrella canopy
Finding inspiration from a Burning Man installation at one of their favorite places, Black Rock City, led to this visual spectacle: glowing umbrellas, fantastical Alice in Wonderland-inspired garb, and DIYed decor galore. Feast your eyes on the first whimsical ceremony, and then get ready for the ethereal second evening ceremony at Burning Man!
Charlie & Blaine’s 1950s style skull wedding
Glittery skulls, bangin’ victory rolls, and some AMAZING shoulder jewelry make this outdoor love fest into a chic little retro-inspired wedding. And don’t miss the candle unity ceremony (with grandmother cameos!), a flower girl who totally nailed her job, and a Corvette entrance to the ceremony.
A vintage-inspired California farm wedding with jasmine, goats, and a coral dress
Abra and Jeff got hitched at Roshambo Farms, aka sun-drenched barnyard heaven — complete with chickens, turkeys, and goats. In the months leading up to the wedding, the bride’s mother amassed a collection of vintage silk and cotton lace, and Abra’s childhood friend used the pieces to fashion her dusty coral wedding gown. Guests also gifted the couple handwritten blessings (to be opened on the denoted anniversary).
Rachel & Nick’s black, red, and beach-all-over music-loving wedding
A love of music, the beach, and rockin’ bare feet, these two planned an LA from Boston wedding (with all of the intricacies that it might entail). And a switch from a kid-free wedding to kid-full turned into a funny dance floor surprise. Plus, gazing at these beach sunset shots doesn’t hurt the midday blahs at all.
