A more traditional blog might call this archive BRIDESMAID DRESSES, but we’re a big fan of gender-neutral wedding parties here at Offbeat Wed, so this is the spot to get ideas for what your female-identified wedding party members might wear.

Now is the time to grab a STEAL on chic & affordable wedding dresses (including the rainbow dress of your dreams!)

You might not think of the post-Thanksgiving weekend as the time to score deals on a wedding dress (or bridesmaids dresses, accessories, etc.), but it actually really is. In particular, we’ve got a huge promotion from dress makers Coco Melody that I couldn’t wait to share. Let’s see a few of them AND find out how you can save mad cash in your wedding budget (and maybe even a RAINBOW one!)…

Dreaming of a Wai-Ching dress? It’s SO in reach (with a new website, extended hours, and tons of ways to customize!)

I can’t think of a dress vendor who has been our ride-or-die partner as long as Wai-Ching has. These dresses have been a STAPLE of Offbeat Bride readers since we got our start in 2007. I can’t imagine having more faith in a dress maker and business than Chrissy Wai-Ching’s Seattle-based dress business.

We’ve long been drooling over her hand-created sustainable wedding wear and distinctive custom dresses in silk, hemp, and other natural fibers. Here’s why we continue to cheer on this amazing artisan and ogle every Wai-Ching dress that crosses our path…

These mermaid bridesmaids are probably luring me to my doom and MY BODY IS READY

I spied these life-changing mermaid bridesmaids dresses over at Lady Petrova’s Instagram page and instantly wanted to see more. ombre blue prom dress alternative wedding ideas from Offbeat Wed (formerly Offbeat Bride)

These prom dresses can be the affordable alternative wedding dresses of your dreams [Updated for 2022!]

Prom dresses, bridesmaid dresses, ballgowns, formal dresses… all of these terms can totally mean WEDDING DRESSES. Plus, they’re almost all sub-$500 which means they’re alternative wedding dresses on a budget. I went a-scouring the prom and bridesmaids sections to see what steals and deals I could find in pinks, metallics, whites, creams, florals, and so many more. Y’all know you can wear white, but don’t discount the rest of the rainbow. Those blush sequins need someone to wear ’em, right? I guess I’ll just have to take one for the team and wear them all. It’ll be hard, but I’ll try to manage.

Go beat me to them and find that prom dress turned wedding dress right now…

Tulle for days, y’all…

Trust us, nobody will be wondering who the bride is just because you’re straying from white. OR some of these could make for epic bridesmaids gear. Either way, we want SOMEONE to be rocking one of these print dresses right nao. Will it be you? Let me know if you’ll be going with a print wedding dress for your wedding!
