This bride was carried to the altar in a coffin!
How do you walk down the aisle when your theme is “Till Death do Us Part” and you’re getting married in an Northern California cemetery? If you’re Kristen, you surprise the hell out of your groom by entering in a coffin carried by the groomsmen.
Yeah, yeah: I know LAST week was our week for spooky weddings, but trust: you’re going to want to see Kristen and Joe’s sweetly macabre video. It’s way more heartwarming than the title of this post suggests.

After seeing Janna’s motorcycle sprocket bouquet (and, for some of us, learning what a sprocket is), we knew that we had to know all about this wedding and the creative, motorcylcle-loving (and, as it turns out, ex-wrestler and theater geek) couple behind it. When I saw this wedding in the OBB Flickr Pool, I was like “OMG! I must know everything about this amazing red haired, punk rock, mohawk wedding! EVERYTHING!” And it was WAY awesomer than I thought — there is a body modification ceremony, co-mohawks, the Looney Tunes theme song, and a DIY cake. Beth & Todd’s costume party, anniversary wedding
Beth and Todd got married on their 12 year anniversary: Halloween 2009! They had a personal ceremony with a costumed friend serving as officiate. Their guests surprised them with their elaborate costumes and they surprised their guests with a first dance rendition of Thriller.
