Big fat gender non-conforming bridal representation: a soft, ethereal shoot
Fat… gender non-conforming… in a wedding dress. This styled shoot serves ethereal softness with teeth. Shot through with dreamy light and unapologetic joy, these images say what the mainstream wedding media won’t: EVERY body is a bridal body. Not just during pride month, and not just for show, but because queerness is sacred year-round.
This queer Colorado elopement had a firefighter bride in a hot pink suit!
When your love story starts in the mountains, why not marry there too? Avery and Maira’s vibrant fall elopement in Ouray, CO, brought full-circle magic, matching sneakers, a rainbow bouquet, and a hot pink suit, plus a firefighter photoshoot! Intimate, colorful, and full of personal meaning, this queer Colorado elopement is pure golden hour magic.
