Tash & Sean’s fire hooping flow fest wedding
I, myself, am not a big one for tradition and rituals or the concept of marriage in general. However, this was very important for Sean. We had been committed together as life partners for some time now, and Sean had delightful visions of himself as a groom and husband. Marriage was very important for him, and I couldn’t say no to a party where I get to look friggin’ fabulous! So even though we knew that we didn’t need marriage to validate and define our relationship, keep it together, or somehow transform us into a more “loving” and “legit” couple, we decided to do it anyway, because I love him, he loves me, and why the f@#$ not?
Kaci & Roy’s vintage Victorian junkyard wedding bash
Kaci & Roy got hitched at The Cathedral of Junk — her in a 1920s gown and him in a Victorian top hat and tails (and pants and stuff 🙂 ). Their ceremony featured a Unity Volcano ceremony(!) and a reading from Shel Silverstein. After their outdoor ceremony, they headed to an old Austin music venue for beer, BBQ, and southern fried foods.
Erin & Sam’s Dia De Los Muertos, Halloween, masquerade ball wedding
What would Halloween week be without a Dia de los Meurtos wedding? Not a very good one, that’s for sure. That’s why I’m pleased to bring you Erin and Sam’s Dia de los Muertos masquerade ball! This one’s got it all… Halloween accoutrements, skull details, costumes, a tarot card reader, even hula-hooping! It’s pretty amazing… -Megs
Sarah & Sean’s black and turquoise Halloween day wedding
Day three of Halloween week brings us Sarah and Sean’s Halloween wedding in an old movie theater, which is pretty spooky in itself. My favorite part about this is the guerilla photo shoot in the mall’s Halloween store! -Megs
Ailea & Marshall’s Tex-Mex lakeside boho wedding
Ailea & Marshall wanted a wedding that reflected who they are, their love of the outdoors, Ailea’s Tex-Mex heritage, Marshall’s disdain for shoes and ties, and their love of candy, alcohol, good food, and dancing. What they ended up with was a flip-flop friendly wedding fiesta!
Texas farm wedding with kick-ass live music
Our Labor of Love Photography got in contact with us after shooting Meriwether and Will’s wedding. They thought that you guys might get a kick out of a tattooed groom, a rocking band and the little, offbeat details of this Fort Worth, Texas wedding.
