This succulent wedding headpiece brings nature to your noggin
Amy and Rachel’s 20-year anniversary wedding was spectacular enough on its own, but one standout was the gorgeous succulent wedding headpiece. We love us some succulents in all forms, but when added to a hairstyle? Fabulous. Let’s take a peek at the purty succulent details.
These cactus can favors are the chic and easy favor you’re looking for
Joanna and Ben’s Latin American fiesta wedding had tap dancing, cacti, tequila carts, and opera singing. The favors stood out for us since they’re just so.damned.adorable. They’re cactus can favors! Mini cacti in saved up Latin American food cans = colorful, super easy decor and favors. And you get to eat a ton of beans and other yummies in the process.
The mirrored corset at this teal and tentacles firey wedding stole our hearts
Liz and Tony’s wedding inspiration came from trips and involvement in the Burning Man community where they met some of their closest friends. Some of our favorite parts were their customized outfits in teal and green with octopus light-up umbrellas, and their reception with fire dancers, fire sculptures, and a ring nest complete with robin’s eggs. Liz’s dress featured loads of tentacles and a corset made from shattered pieces of mirrored glass. You’ll absolutely want to see the whole shebang.
How to make large paper succulent centerpieces (or bouquets!)
These paper succulents are a larger version of this amazing Lia Griffith tutorial. Her templates are built so that all 10 petal pieces fit on a standard letter size sheet of paper. This is great for the smaller, 2.5″ size flowers, but we needed to get beefy with these leafy blossoms!
