Art meets science at a wonderfully weird New York gallery wedding
Lauren and Kyle are two wonderfully weird creatures from outer space who are super in love with each other (also Earth-bound visual artists and programmers whose art mixes light work, electronics and sound, while exploring human’s interactions). Lauren’s “Conversacube” (a device she created that offers random words to ease strangers into a conversation) were installed on every table at the reception, and Kyle’s magnificent light installation lit the whole room all night.
Cait & Matt’s nerdy art deco and TARDIS blue wedding
Get ready to try and find all of the fandom references you can in this nerdy meets chic wedding in Portland. Keep an eye out for Harry Potter, Buffy, Doctor Who, and of course, a super gorgeous couple who will take your breath away. There’s a silver dress (with a way cool side bustle for dancing!), a retro mustached groom, and all the glamour your nerdy hearts can take.
Maryska & Chris’ lanterns, lights, and top hats wedding
Fairy lights, lanterns instead of bouquets, and a shimmery platinum handmade gown to rival any on the red carpet — this wedding seriously glows. Plus, the pair’s geeky sides came out with some Tolkien and Firefly details to keep things fun. But fun wasn’t in short supply with the bride’s funny ceremony snafu and their first dance collision!
Abbie & Justin’s technicolor karaoke wedding
This wedding has paper flowers, rainbow cupcakes, a silver dress by Miss Brache’s, a taco truck reception, and a super crafty way to make seating a cinch. And when the bride sang Boyz II Men’s “I’ll Make Love to You,” all fell under her spell.
