This pair had three months to plan their pre-baby Christmas-themed wedding in Connecticut with craft beer, awesomely festive DIYed decor all in a beautiful converted barn venue. Sweet simplicity: Sam & Meghan’s small, simple Winter wedding
This was a very small and simple Winter wedding — a celebration of our relationship. There were 17 guests in attendance, just immediate family and best friends. We met in the dead of winter at a small college chapel for the ceremony, then went to a restaurant down the street for dinner. We had few decorations, no theme, no wedding party, no rehearsal dinner, no formal invitations, no gifts, no dancing — and it was glorious.

This Chicago brunch wedding slays us with board games and nostalgia
Davora and Roxy exchanged their vows at a kick-ass restaurant in Chicago, Carnivale. They had a board game-themed brunch reception with board game tables, board game centerpieces, and even board game dessert trays. They included Candy Land, Balderdash, Sorry!, and Cranium, among other nostalgia.

Stacie and Crystal were married in Oklahoma, but had their public rockabilly wedding ceremony and reception at a friend’s home in Wichita Falls, TX. Their families and friends had a hand in everything — from officiating, to music, to venue, to cakes, to food, to decorating, it was a homemade-with-love affair. At the end, it was all toasts and cake and smooching… then tornado sirens from all of the bad weather they’d been having. Hey, it probably means good luck, right?
