Vault Boy approves of these gamers’ Fallout wedding
Erin and Jordan took a favorite post-apocalyptic video game, Fallout, and rocked it as a killer wedding theme. This Fallout wedding took place at a hundred-year-old clock tower which served as both the ceremony and reception site. Don’t miss the Fallout-themed decor like a giant Vault Boy, Nuka-Cola posters and art, cap stashes, bottle caps, Rad-X and Buffout centerpieces, and even an “Enjoy Vault Living” guest book poster.
A “Jew-maican” multicultural blended family wedding (with a salsa first dance!)
Yana and Fabian and a beautiful multicultural (Russian, British, Jewish, and Jamaican) blended family wedding. Yana, (born in Russia and raised in England) and Fabian (Jamaican-born) met while taking Salsa lessons at their church. Don’t miss the traditional Jamaican dishes, centerpieces of books of poetry, boxes of tea, and teapots filled with locally-sourced flowers, cotton candy machine, and tea favors.
A guerrilla-style Harry Potter Wizarding World wedding (with handmade outfits!)
Kevin proposed to Jessica with a stuffed owl carrying a ring box and a Hogwarts letter, so their guerrilla wedding at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando was a no-brainer. They BOTH made their own wedding attire and it was epic. Accio Wizarding World wedding!
#ErinAndTimGetMeowied: a nerdy cat lady wedding
Our wedding had a loose theme of books, cats, and glitter. I really wanted my four cats to be at the wedding, but it wasn’t possible, so I had to just let my cat lady status show in other ways.
I wore cat shoes and had a cat purse. We had our cats added to our cake topper, cat paw chocolate pops favors, and made sure to have cat ears at the photo booth. And, of course, used a cat lady wedding hashtag: #ErinAndTimGetMeowied.
