This pair shines in every shot. Their April wedding may not have been a legal ceremony, but a little miracle happened and well, you’ll just have to see how it all went down after that.
Morgan & Ryan’s travel-themed, vintage suitcases, and VW bus wedding
The first three years of this couple’s seven-year relationship were spent on long flights and lots of late night phone calls. From California to Minnesota, their love is well traveled — as was their wedding. Think travel-themed and vintage (50 vintage suitcases, to be specific!), a ’69 VW bus photo booth, and lots more DIY and retro touches. But it was the bride’s tribute to her groom’s father AND her epiphany about being a plus-sized bride that really stuck with us.
Lisa & Adam’s Southern gothic nerdy wedding
These two gothically-inclined cuties totally know how to combine TARDIS cookies with elegantly dark decor, sweet vows with a gorgeous stage ceremony, and Southern charm with grace in the face of grief. This wedding had its share of challenges, but the end result was something to be admired. Oh, and just wait until you see how the father/daughter dance ended up one of the funniest moments!
Danielle & Andrew’s 1920s-inspired tiny wedding
Just wait until you see this tiny wedding with some Velveteen Rabbit, a gorgeous black dress, a groom in a dapper top hat and coat, all with a cross-country, long distance plan. It may not have been their original intent, but we can’t deny that it’s a fabulous result. Don’t miss the gothically delicious black feather and flower bouquet!
Ansley & Derrick’s love-packed dance party wedding
Spray-painted animal and wine bottle centerpieces, paper flowers and baby’s breath, cupcakes, and everything gold — this wedding makes budget looks gilded. Plus, you’ll be getting sappy looking at this sweet pair make goo-goo eyes at each other in almost every shot… well, except those where they’re busting a move on the dance floor.
Janet & Joe’s colorful tie-dye and dancing wedding
These two are children of the sixties, and what better way to celebrate the decade and their love of color than by having a TIE-DYE WEDDING? It’s like a rainbow exploded and left everyone super happy and covered in color. They tossed tie-dyed bears, had a choreographed dance to their song (well, almost!), and tons of tie-dyed decor. Put on your shades for this one — it’s wild!
