Drool over one last spooky wedding of the season with a corpse bride from Pennsylvania!
Okay, yes, we’re moving away from the season of skeletons and spooks, BUT. I owe it to you all to show you this one last spooky glam wedding! Crissa made for an awesome corpse bride when she and TJ got married earlier this fall. She styled her own look, thanks in part to her grandmother’s wedding dress, a skirt of her own, and some choice accessories from Lovechild Boudoir. TJ absolutely kept up with his own Victorian corpse groom costume, and Crissa’s daughter joined in the fun as a sparkly princess.
Social anxiety, expectations, and raising a child: Why we chose a pseudo-elopement
After three years of engagement, we finally started to figure out what we wanted to do for our wedding. Throw a big party? Throw a small party? Run away? Ugh, they all sounded hard and not right. I wanted our wedding to be special for us, and not be bogged down with anxiety, and feeling like no one was as happy as I wanted them to be. The one thing that kept sticking was pseudo eloping, and it was perfect.

And a lollipop miracle at the ceremony. And a super sweet moment with the bride’s father during their father/daughter dance. And so much more. SO MUCH!
Shyn & D’Angelo’s laid-back recycled wedding
Reusing, recycling, and a little dumpster diving totally made this wedding into a low-maintenance cleanup wonder with awesome DIY projects like a wine cork guest book, self-catered picnic noms, and jam jar lanterns. A custom-made dress and Prohibition Era attire made it super stylish on top of that! Add in the lush green ceremony space, and you’ll be googly-eyed for this couple.
