A goth history nerd wedding with Cthulhu, Beetlejuice, and a headpiece to die for
Prepare yourself for something so rad, you’ll piss yourself. Think a Cthulhu cake, a gorgeous purple and black gown, an unbelievable ship-inspired headpiece, nerd burlesque with Anne Boleyn and Lydia from Beetlejuice, and a shell bouquet of purple, black, and gold. You’ll be watching this mouth agape, we assure you.
The goth headpiece of our dark and stormy day dreams
We’ll soon be sharing Brittany and Taylor’s goth history nerd wedding featuring an amazing Cthulhu cake, nerd burlesque, and some epic goth fashion. The latter of which is our current interest that we couldn’t wait to preview. Brittany’s ship headpiece was made by Kopf Traeume, who also makes FABULOUS headpieces with horns, feathers, bird cages, and tons of flora. The rest of the wedding is going to knock your socks off, but we’ll get to that later. For now, you get a sneaky peeky of this goth headpiece of our dark wonderland dreams.
Once upon a midnight dreary, we fell for this Poe wedding
Tamara and Sam’s theme is seriously one of our favorites: “rock ‘n’ Poe” — all things Edgar Allen Poe meets rock ‘n’ roll. They DIYed a lot of the goth details, and dinner was a breakfast bar. Between the fabulous black gown (which was actually billed as a “mother of the bride dress” — wut), the killer groom outfit and epic beard, and the black and white lace cake, we love this wedding with a love that’s more than a love. Okay, no more Poe quotes, I promise.
This stunning and elegant goth wedding in a cave will charm all black hearts
Can you even get over how gorgeous this goth couple is? With a custom-made black wedding dress and veil, amazing thrones, a coffin ring box, bleeding candles, a HUGE and amazingly goth cake, and of course, a CAVE RECEPTION… we’re sure this wedding will get your heart racing. Don’t miss the Tim Burton-esque invitations, the lush red and black bouquet, and the hilariously charming sand ceremony gone rogue.
A sexy and dark Valentine’s Day look with inspiration from The Crow
This dark Valentine’s Day shoot is glamorously cool with moody reds, greys, and rich purples as the color palette and The Crow as aesthetic inspiration. We love us some pastels, but sometimes you just want to savor the dark side. Add in a ’20s-inspired dress, a few red hearts, a bunch of lush florals, and a wicked helipad venue,
Ventanas in Atlanta, and you’ve got our new favorite dark Valentine’s Day look.
Our hearts are black and blue from this goth fantasy wedding
Royal blue and black details, a black dragon cake, the bride’s corseted dream gown, and tons of steampunk, goth, and Victorian-inspired garb on the guests — it’s a stunning goth fantasy wedding. Don’t miss the heavy metal soundtrack ideas, the poetry readings, and the dark, dreamy, mysterious DIYed decor.
