The morning of our wedding, my fiance and I exchanged our wedding gifts. I gave my spouse-to-be an Apple watch; I received a $20 t-shirt. My eyes got watery when I saw the shirt, and I couldn’t help but cry. Fortunately, they were happy tears. For me, this t-shirt meant so much more than a fun shirt to wear on our honeymoon. It represented our shared struggles with gender identity… and that I was marrying the right partner for me.
Jessie and Adam are huge Disney fans AND talented artists who both work for Disney. That combination makes for a seriously magical, seriously eye-popping Disney-themed wedding. The handmade Disney Classic-inspired centerpieces alone had us freaking out.
I wished upon a star and received this gorgeous Disney wedding. Won’t you come and see it?
From princesses to Star Wars, this bride, Melissa, loves Disney. Her groom Brodie was on board, too, so choosing a Disney theme for the wedding with a gold gown, Disney princess-channeling bridesmaids, and loads of amazing details, was a no-brainer. Just wait until you see the seriously amazing DIYed centerpieces, each themed for Disney movies.
Jess and Hugh have traveled the world as a pair, and have a Beast-sized connection to Disney as they have a company that offers Princess Parties for kids. They use their talents as musicians to bring Disney Princesses to life. So this Beauty and the Beast wedding inspiration was so perfect for them AND perfect since the live action remake it coming out this week.
Be our guest and take a peek… perhaps there’s something there that wasn’t there before.
This Disney Bounding-themed wedding had gorgeous Disney-inspired decor like painted pumpkins, colored glass, and trinkets a-plenty. The decor was Disney Bounding-inspired, which means it’s Disney-themed and subtle (to get around Disney’s no-costume rule!). Think Disney cosplay-lite but applied to a wedding. The magic without the actual characters.
I’m going to let you do the searching for all the references at this Disney Bounding-inspired wedding.
