Sophiya & Delphine’s French/Indian garden soirée wedding
These two were born and raised in two completely different parts of the world, don’t belong to the same race, speak the same languages, or share the same culture. France-meets-India by way of New York all the way to Montreal where these two ladies marry in garden with a lounge-style reception and a menu that would give other menus a run for their money.
Dawn & Benjamin’s off-the-grid forest handfasting
This pair both studied sustainability at a gorgeous venue on Cortes Island, BC, so it only made sense to bring their loved ones there to celebrate their marriage. And those same guests pulled together to provide tons of help in preparing for this camp-out wedding in the forest. But the best part of all is the bride’s HAND-PAINTED dress! You have to see it.
Flora & Kristy’s full moon fairytale wedding by the sea
Nods to Paganism, Celtic readings, and flower fairies make this waterfront wedding truly magical. And at the reception, there was even a father/daughter/father/daughter dance! And prepare your eyes from the awesomely scandalous garter photo!
Julie & Paul’s farm fresh and sassy wedding
After two years of life and natural disasters delaying the wedding, these hunter/gatherers finally tied the knot at their own gorgeous home in Nova Scotia. With their own foliage (and some lingerie!) as decor, a doggie ring bearer, a fake roadkill-style menu, an actual seafood dinner, and the kissy-face couple themselves, I don’t even know what you’ll love most. Let’s just go with everything!
