Try felled redwood decor, succulent studded centerpieces, homemade steampunk-inspired pies, a “Smokey Porter” homebrew, and air plants (even in Laura’s hair!).

Amy and Andrew are two creative people who handcrafted a gorgeous wedding with the help of their community. With help from so many, they made bouquets and boutonnières from farmers market flowers they bought that morning, famous family desserts for the reception, a ceramicist friend made their cake topper, and Amy even found her dress on Craigslist. Andrew made flasks for his groomsmen out of clay and metal, materials he uses daily anyway.

Guests sat on blankets on a hill at the ceremony like it was an outdoor concert! But our favorite part was their photo booth. They had a giant canvas with paints so that the guests could create their own backdrop. You’ve got to see this handcrafted wedding in North Carolina…
