Make a portable favor with cupcakes in a jar (PLUS free printable labels!)
If you’re looking for a way to combine cake and favors, cupcakes in jars are a great option. It makes the cake that much more portable, and those who are full on the meal (including you) can still get their sugar fix later. Plus: CUTE! While you can bake them directly in the jars (like this rainbow cake!), I’d recommend putting them in after. Here’s how.
Fall wedding favors that are lit, sweet, and clean
Summer’s almost over in the North — sad face — but where my Fall brides at!? You guys should be well into planning overdrive. Let’s get into a collective Fall wedding planning mode while we geek out over fun autumnal wedding decor and favor options. You’re going to love gawking at these items while they put you in the mood for changing leaves, the smell of pinecones, the feel of warm drink on a cool day, and pumpkin pies. At the same time you might get some great inspiration for guest book ideas and the perfect brunch wedding favors!
Eco-friendly favor: seed bombs!
I picked seed bombs as favors because I didn’t want to give out “stuff” (i.e. junk that will just go in a landfill) but rather give something small that was enjoyable, expressed our ethos, and was delightfully biodegradable. My husband and I had a great time making these and getting dirty! They were really easy and took no time at all.
Emergency kits for your BBQ wedding reception
We wanted to make favors that would be useful, so I totally borrowed an idea from the welcome bag with an awesome, party-friendly, “emergency kit” post and decided to make the perfect wedding BBQ emergency kit!
