The Arkenstone of weddings: a barefoot Hobbit wedding
When it comes to Lord of the Rings weddings, this barefoot Hobbit-themed wedding wins all the Arkenstones. Lanterns, elven bridesmaids, a crown headpiece, hobbit groomsmen (and groom!), and even a dwarf! Gandalf the Grey presided over the ceremony and they ate Hobbit hole cake. There’s so much Tolkien goodness to see, on top of the already amazing silver dress, purple hair, and epic costumes. This pair won’t be throwing their rings into Mount Doom anytime soon.
No Beast, all Belle at this gorgeous Belle Isle wedding in Detroit
From the sweet little wedding favors (tiny labeled, potted succulents) to the sublime outdoor ceremony to the guest book log, Kelsey and Val’s Belle Isle wedding in Detroit made all our days forever. Sometimes it’s the simple touches that make all the difference. Don’t miss the floral boutonniere accents on the dress, too!
Don’t miss the gilded gold tutu dress at this forest festival wedding
Anna and Zack celebrated their wedding with camping, costumes, fairy wings, and surrounded by nature and their loved ones. They dubbed it a “Union Festival” and invited their guests to join them for a full weekend of camping and dancing. Anna’s short gold dress shined like she was a warrior princess. Jurassic Jamboree: a dinosaur wedding with tacos, T-Rex heels, and a golden claw
The bride at this dinosaur wedding wore amazing gold glitter T-Rex heels that made her feel like an ancient force of nature along with her gigantic King Protea bouquet, crown of succulents, and golden claw. The cake was topped by two gold T-Rexes in a field of succulents and pin cushion proteas. That doesn’t even cover the Cumbia jams, handmade paper flowers, and amazing-looking hurros and cajeta. Don’t miss what happened when a piece of art broke at the reception art gallery space!
