Sam & Ian’s Casual-chic, Peacock-inspired Wedding
We wanted a relaxed, fun day where we could be ourselves without worrying what was expected of us. We only had a small budget so I made a lot of things myself. Our theme was peacock feathers and pearls with indigo, black & jade green as our colours. I had as many peacock feathers as I could!
Clarissa & Joseph’s Modern Harlem Renaissance Wedding
Clarissa and Sam were inspired by the Harlem Renaissance to create this edgy, playful wedding complete with a naked sushi lady, movies, and games.
Hayley & Patrick’s color-scheme-free, crazy-hair-filled wedding dorkfest
Haley & Patrick are lucky in the sense that both of their parents were very supportive of their offbeat-ness. This allowed them to have their wedding day their way. So, they had a quaker ceremony, followed by a reception filled with games and dancing!
Monday Montage: make-up, skulls, silly photos, and some fashion!
Check out some of my favorite photos from the Offbeat Bride Flickr pool here, on this week’s Monday Montage. This week we have more charming couple photos, an incredible green-blue crinoline, a gorgeous pink-ish red dress with a gold obi, a unicorn filled alternative guestbook, a few Día de los Muertos themed pictures, and a llama cookie topper! And if you’re feeling lucky, try clicking on a photo, (or click on the photo if you just want to see MOAR!)
